Model Release Agreement
A Model Release Agreement is a legally binding contract granting Chiranjit Kar Photography the perpetual, worldwide, irrevocable right to capture, retouch, display, publish, and commercially license photographs containing the model's visual likeness.
Key Provisions:
- Likeness Grant: The model grants unrestricted rights to publish final images across online portfolios, social channels, magazine submissions, advertising exhibitions, and fine art prints.
- Minors & Guardian Consent: For any model under 18 years of age, written consent from a parent or legal guardian is strictly mandatory prior to commencement of production.
- Compensation Waiver: The model acknowledges that receipt of agreed-upon high-resolution retouched photographs constitutes complete, final compensation. No additional royalties, residuals, or monetary claims apply.
- Artistic Depiction Release: Releases the photographer and creative crew from claims of defamation, invasion of privacy, or distortion arising from artistic post-processing.

Client Photography Service Agreement
Applies to all paid commercial shoots, solo look sessions, and bridal commissions contracted with Chiranjit Kar Photography.
Key Highlights:
- Booking Deposit: A deposit is required to reserve studio dates and creative crew.
- Turnaround Timeline: Raw unretouched proofs are delivered within 48 hours for client selection. Final retouched photographs are delivered within 1 to 2 months following image selection and complete balance payment.
- Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy:
- Cancellations require reasonable prior notice.
- Cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled shoot are non-refundable.
- While advance deposits are non-refundable, clients may reschedule the photoshoot for an alternate available date using the same advance deposit.
- Limited Liability Cap: In the unforeseen event of catastrophic equipment failure or emergency, liability is strictly limited to either a full refund or a complimentary rescheduled shoot.

Agreement Verification Protocol
To ensure the safety of both models and the studio, and to prevent fraudulent digital agreements, all online contract executions require identity verification through one of two secure channels:
Option A
Document-Based Verification
Verification conducted using the last 6 digits of official Government ID (Aadhaar Card or PAN Card). Kept strictly confidential and never stored on public servers.
Option B
Payment KYC Verification
A nominal ₹1 secure transaction processed via Razorpay. Verifies that the signer's legal name matches their verified Indian bank account. Non-refundable administrative security fee.

Copyright & Commercial Licensing
All original photographs, creative compositions, digital negatives, and artistic edits produced by Chiranjit Kar remain the exclusive intellectual property of Chiranjit Kar under Indian Copyright Law.
Clients and models receive non-exclusive, non-transferable personal and commercial promotional licenses as specified in their individual shoot packages. Unauthorized resale or redistribution to third-party image stock agencies is strictly prohibited.
